Peoria Public Library is closed to the public

Message from Executive Director Randall Yelverton:

Peoria Public Library took the unprecedented step of closing to the public as of Monday, March 16 due to growing concerns about the coronavirus pandemic. We have had to extend our closure due to the federal and state mandated shelter-at-home order.

Our doors are closed, our staff is available to answer questions, including how to access our vast virtual library, which has nearly a million titles.

For trusted information and updates on the coronavirus (COVID-19), including prevention tips and what to do if you are exhibiting symptoms, please visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

Closer to home, the Peoria City/County Health Department also has a COVID-19 Information/Update page at https://www.pcchd.org/

We thank our patrons for your understanding and patience.
