Peoria Speaks: UIC Positive Health Solutions – North Branch

Peoria Speaks is a monthly community discussion program which focuses on topics of interest to Peorians. Funding for Peoria Speaks is being provided by Illinois Humanities through their Illinois Speaks program which is aimed at strengthening the democratic process through community dialogues across the state of Illinois. This month, our guest speaker will be Lisa Roeder, Supervisor of Medical Social Services at Positive Health Solutions (PHS). PHS is part of the UIC Medical Center in Peoria, where it provides a range of health care and support services for area residents living with HIV/AIDS. She will provide background information about PHS’s mission, history, and services, and then the floor will be open for questions and to further discuss the topics she introduces. Free and open to the public.
