Monday Music at Main – Main Library

Celebrate "Showtime at Your Library" with a musical performance at the Main Library! We have a variety of very talented musicians coming to the library this summer! A portion of CD sales support the Friends of Peoria Public Library.

June 3: Roundstone Buskers

Named for Roundstone, Ireland, the hometown of the great bodhran maker Malachy Kearns, The Buskers are an acoustic power trio claiming traditional and contemporary Celtic as part of their sound. They have been called "cheeky", "punxy" and "on point" and they are fine with that. They all sing, they all play, but most importantly they all listen.

June 17: Flatland Harmony Experiment

Flatland Harmony Experiment is a high octane vocally driven string band from Indianapolis. The group trades lead vocal and lead instrumental responsibilities through a large and diverse original musical pallet. The instrumental mix of mandolin, banjo, guitar and upright bass allows ample space for musical experimentation and expression.
