Peoria Speaks – Lakeview Branch

Peoria Speaks is a monthly small-group discussion that uses well-facilitated dialogue to bring community members together and bridge divides around issues that matter most to our community.  This month, facilitator Sarah Glover will lead a discussion of “What Does Empathy Look Like?” focusing on how we respond to the suffering of others. To reserve a spot or learn more about this event, please contact Roberta at 497-2186 or RobertaKoscielski@ppl.peoria.lib.il.us.

Funding for Peoria Speaks is being provided by Illinois Humanities through their Illinois Speaks program which is aimed at strengthening the democratic process through community dialogues across the state of Illinois.  Free and open to the public.
