Peoria Public Library will be starting a year-long project to create a community picture book, which will consist in monthly submissions. Each month, during 2021, we will be asking all the kids in our community to write, draw, paint, and/or color the next page of the first ever Peoria Public Library Community Picture Book! You will then hand it in via email (programming@ppl.peoria.lib.il.us) or by bringing in a physical copy through curbside service. Explore diverse experiences and genres with the #OwnVoices book club. #OwnVoices refers to an author from a marginalized or under-represented group writing from their own experiences and perspective.
